This little kitchen sits in a lovingly preserved outbuilding of a Georgian townhouse, thought to once have been a fisherman’s smokehouse. The original boards on the low ceiling and tongue and groove panelling on the walls gives this space a feel of a ‘galley’ kitchen. The use of neutrals throughout - the white cupboards, marble worktop and simple wall tiling bring a crisp, bright feel to the room.
The smart metal plate rack and chrome ironmongery add character to the kitchen and the floor tiles which flow through into the adjoining dining room are reminiscent of a Victorian pantry, bringing a touch of charm.
